Requirements and Responsibilities

Workforce Analytics Manager manages the analysis of workforce metrics in order to optimize human resource capacity planning and maximize labor utilization rates. Oversees quantitative analysis and the creation of predictive models used for enhancing forecasting accuracy and improving workforce decision making. Being a Workforce Analytics Manager guides efforts to automate data collection and analysis, create visualizations, and develop new analytic tools. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Workforce Analytics Manager typically reports to a head of a unit or department. The Workforce Analytics Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Workforce Analytics Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes.
