The Cardiologist - Invasive diagnoses patients with the aid of diagnostic images and electrocardiograph recordings. Examines and treats disorders and diseases of the cardiovascular system. Being a Cardiologist - Invasive consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Also may perform invasive medical procedures to help with diagnosis or treatment. In addition, Cardiologist - Invasive recommends and orders tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition. Requires a degree in medicine from an accredited school and is licensed to practice. May report to a medical director. Cardiologist - Invasive's years of experience requirement may be unspecified.
