Job Description

The CMO develops an end-to-end marketing function that delivers messaging, branding, digital presence, product support, demand generation, content, research, and thought leadership. Provides overall vision, leadership, strategy, and execution of all marketing programs and initiatives of the organization. Being a CMO builds and develops the teams and technology required to collect, test, measure, and analyze marketing metrics necessary to identify trends in the marketplace, program effectiveness, and consumer behavior. Partners with line of business leaders to ensure marketing programs and advertising expenditures support company revenue and growth objectives. In addition, CMO identifies potential markets, customer segments, and products to explore. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to ceo. Responsible for the development of functional or business unit strategy for the entire organization. Defines corporate vision and strategy establishes company direction and focus.
