Sets up and operates heart/lung machines to take on the functions of patient's organs while in surgery. Being an OR Perfusionist in addition, a Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) credential is required. May require an associate's degree or its equivalent. In addition, OR Perfusionist typically reports to a manager. OR Perfusionist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified.
