As a pharmacy technician, you cannot open a pharmacy. Legally, a pharmacy must be registered by a pharmacist or a partnership of pharmacists. Pharmacy technicians typically earn between $36,185 and $44,770 annually, which does not qualify them to operate a pharmacy.
