What does a hospital CNA do?

A hospital CNA, or certified nursing assistant, provides direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or other medical staff. Their duties may include assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating, as well as taking vital signs and reporting any changes in a patient‘s condition. Hospital CNAs also provide emotional support to patients and their families and help to maintain a clean and safe environment within the hospital.
