An air marshal, employed by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), is tasked with safeguarding an aircraft and its travelers from potential threats. These individuals are highly skilled marksmen and must undergo rigorous testing and certification. Their responsibilities include seamlessly integrating with other passengers, identifying possible dangers, and conducting thorough investigations. Becoming an air marshal requires a range of qualifications, such as recognizing terrorist behaviors, proficiency with firearms, and familiarity with aircraft-specific tactics. Prior law enforcement experience may also be necessary.
