What is a detailer?

Detailers are employed in various automotive settings, such as dealerships, body shops, and car washes, where they meticulously clean both the interior and exterior of vehicles. Their tasks include ensuring the vehicle looks tidy, moving customer cars, using cleaning tools, and operating light machinery like buffers and vacuums. Interior detailers focus on vacuuming and washing upholstery, wiping surfaces, and cleaning the dashboard and console, while exterior detailers wash and wax the car, clean windows, and dry the vehicle‘s surface. Additionally, detailers may be tasked with removing grease or dirt from engine compartments.
