What is a low voltage electrician?

A low voltage electrician works with wiring, light fixtures, and electrical equipment. Your duties are to install low voltage systems in residential or small commercial buildings. These may include electrical systems or personal systems, such as video surveillance, alarm, or home entertainment systems. You may work as part of a construction crew, or you may be contracted to do individual installations and maintenance on existing buildings.
