CASAC-T stands for Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor-Trainee. This credential is for individuals who are in the process of completing the requirements for full CASAC certification. Trainees work under the supervision of a fully credentialed CASAC and provide counseling and support services to individuals with substance abuse issues.
