What is the best class for merchant navy?

Choosing the best class for entering the merchant navy largely depends on your educational background and career aspirations. After completing the 12th grade with a focus on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM), there are several prominent courses available. The Diploma in Marine Engineering is a popular choice, requiring students to be between 17 and 25 years old. Alternatively, pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Marine Engineering is also an excellent option, but it necessitates passing the JEE Main or Advanced examinations. These programs typically have the same age limit of 17 to 25 years. For those interested in navigation and ship operations, a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Nautical Science is another viable path, which also requires a PCM background and adheres to the same age restrictions. Each of these courses offers unique opportunities and career paths within the maritime industry, making it essential for aspiring candidates to consider their interests and strengths when selecting the best course for their future in the merchant navy.
