The attrition rate is calculated by determining the number of employees who have left the company during a specific time period, as well as the number of employees at the beginning and end of that time period. Once you have this data, the calculation for the attrition rate is relatively straightforward. You simply divide the total number of people who left their job by the average number of employees at the beginning of the time period, and then multiply that number by 100. This will give you the employee attrition rate, which is a measure of how quickly employees are leaving the company. The attrition rate is also known as the turnover rate or churn rate.
