Requirements and Responsibilities

Business Development Manager, Sr. manages business development team efforts. Creates business strategies to facilitate company growth. Being a Business Development Manager, Sr. leads expansion into new markets to support the overall growth strategy. Builds relationships with existing clients in an attempt to increase their current investment. Additionally, Business Development Manager, Sr. reviews and analyzes the results of past campaigns to facilitate development of new initiatives and partnerships. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Business Development Manager, Sr. typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Business Development Manager, Sr. typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
