Provides expert judgment and analysis for the design, development and implementation of technical products and systems. Being an Engineer - Specialist/Project Lead has extensive engineering knowledge and is considered an expert in one or more engineering specialties. Recommends alterations to development and design to improve quality of products and/or procedures. In addition, Engineer - Specialist/Project Lead requires a bachelor's degree of engineering. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Engineer - Specialist/Project Lead is a specialist on complex technical and business matters. Work is highly independent.
