Job Description

The Enterprise Applications Programming Director provides strategic direction to guide the planning and deployment of new ERP applications or updates to ensure reliability, security, and functionality. Oversees the programming and configuration functions to support the implementation of the organization's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications. Being an Enterprise Applications Programming Director designs policies and procedures to guide ERP system programming and ensure the optimal function of ERP applications to support business goals. Serves as point of knowledge for department objectives and complex ERP programming and configuration questions. In addition, Enterprise Applications Programming Director coordinates with senior management and business leaders to understand current and future business needs and develop business strategy. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Enterprise Applications Programming Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Working as an Enterprise Applications Programming Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.
