Being a Licensed Architect, Specialist supervises and guides the work of lower-level architects. Writes reports and specifications, supervises the preparation of architectural plans, and reviews completed plans and estimates. In addition, Licensed Architect, Specialist requires the use of more advanced techniques. Requires a bachelor's degree of architecture. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. May require a state architect's license. Licensed Architect, Specialist is a specialist on complex technical and business matters. Work is highly independent.
