Job Description

The QA/Validation Engineering Manager I oversees the development of quality standards and protocols for quality assurance testing models. Manages inspections of raw materials, materials in process, and finished products. Being a QA/Validation Engineering Manager I ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Assists in the design and implementation of policies and procedures for testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and/or equipment. In addition, QA/Validation Engineering Manager I acts as advisor to quality assurance engineering team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a unit/department head. The QA/Validation Engineering Manager I manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes.
