Aerospace Engineer II designs and supervises the construction of aircraft and associated parts such as airframe, auxiliaries, communication equipment, controls, fuselage, and powerplant. Analyzes results of stress tests on various craft and missile parts and conducts research to determine flight characteristics. Being an Aerospace Engineer II may concentrate in a single aerospace discipline such as flight mechanics, guidance, and control systems, propulsion systems, robotics, or aerodynamics. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Aerospace Engineer II typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
