Assists with the creation of prototypes, layouts, and models for product components, a system, or a manufacturing process using CAE tools. Being a CAE Design Technician I checks and verifies layouts and results of analysis for accuracy and adherence to standards. Collects, validates, and prepares data required for CAE processes. Additionally, CAE Design Technician I typically requires an associate degree in engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The CAE Design Technician I works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline.
