Being a Dental Assistant hands necessary tools and equipment to the dentist and provides assistance during treatment. May record findings, change barriers, or sterilize equipment. Additionally, Dental Assistant requires an associate degree from an accredited program. Typically reports to a dentist. To be a Dental Assistant typically requires 1-3 years of related experience.
