Additionally, Medical Librarian (MLS) has current knowledge of medical developments and scientific literature. Requires a master's degree of Library Science (MLS). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Medical Librarian (MLS) gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.
