Employs optical instruments to examine measuring instruments for wear, damage, and defects, and makes adjustments to inaccurate instruments. Additionally, Precision Tool Inspector, Sr. understands industry and quality concepts and standards such as ISO, GMP, and NIST. Requires a high school diploma or graduation from a technical or trade school. May require State License. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Precision Tool Inspector, Sr. works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job.
