Being a Threat Assessment Manager leads the creation of clear, effective, and proactive plans for avoiding or mitigating newly emerged or evolving threats. Makes level-headed decisions in crises. Additionally, Threat Assessment Manager investigates incidents that expose potential issues in current organizational security plans and procedures. Alerts top management or business partners about relevant threats. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director or top management. The Threat Assessment Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions.
