The Conservation Agronomist will work with landowners, and farmers across Minnesota to execute conservation and agronomy technical assistance delivery increasing active farmer participation and successful engagement in programs and projects that improve production, profitability, and natural resource outcomes. Applicants must have strong fundamentals in western cropping systems, salinity and irrigation management, soil science and geographic information systems (GIS). A strong knowledge in field sampling methods and data analysis is required. The applicant must also have excellent communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, perform work on-time and within budget resources.
