NGS Analyst I, II, or III Job Purpose: The NGS DNA Analyst job’s focus is on preparing extracts for library preparation, performing library preparation, and next-generation DNA sequencing. Duties and Responsibilities: Successful performance will require that the individual: Adhere to ISO 17025 requirements, safety protocols, and SOPs. Perform DNA quantitation and other QC assays. Performs library preparation and other remediation techniques Helps maintain chain of custody of evidence Participate in the development, validation, and implementation of new analytical techniques.
