Medix Engineering is seeking Mechanical Assemblers to join our team in Darien, WI to assist in the fabrication of sub assemblies and final assemblies of industrial power generators. With a second production facility that has recently opened, there is a need for additional support on the first shift. This is a 3 month contract to hire paying $21 / hour. The hours are Monday - Saturday, 5:00AM - 3:30PM. This means $1,470 a week in your pocket with overtime! We do provide full training with great opportunity for career growth. Responsibiltiies: Follow blueprints to build sub assemblies and final assemblies of generators (not on an assembly line). Use of hand and power tools (provided by company). Comfortable climbing / working on a ladder and scissor lift. Use of inspection tools including calipers, micrometers, and tape measures for quality control. Requirements: Must be willing to Monday - Saturday. Must own steel toed boots. Able to pass and drug and background check. Prior expeirence
