Schedule: M-F, (7:00am-3:30pm) Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Respond to customer comfort calls. These are usually hot/cold calls caused by the failure of HVAC equipment or controls. Troubleshoot, repair and or replace VAV boxes, PIU units, controllers, thermostats, valves, and valve controllers as required. Complete preventive maintenance (PM) as assigned including performing general maintenance and repairs. Assist senior mechanics with more complex tasks or major repairs/modifications. Learn and demonstrate appropriate alarm responses to common PLC initiated alarms. Exposed to commercial mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
