If you are a creative visual storyteller who enjoys being out in the community capturing local stories, we are looking for you! This is a freelance position with an estimated 6-9 month duration. Responsibilities: Editing and shooting stories, interviews, videos, packages and other projects as assigned Assisting producers with coordinating and directing shoots and contribute in the pre-production process Maintain production equipment and computer backup systems Keep up production video database as well as software Keep track of upgrades, and keep supervisors and engineering department apprised of software and maintenance needs Complete projects as assigned Assigned to our duopoly stations, NBC4 Washington and Telemundo 44, as needed. Qualifications/Requirements: Minimum 2 years newsgathering experience Minimum 2 years of experience in combination of shooting live events, editing on nonlinear systems

WFMZ-TV is looking for an individual to be on call to shoot breaking news in the overnight hours between 11 pm and 8 am in the Reading and Berks County area. Applicants must have immediately available transportation and live close to the city of Reading. We will equip with video gear. This is a part time position, paid per assignment.
