We are looking for a skilled Maintenance worker to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and installation. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are tidy and functional. This position will report to the Owner and will work to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain restaurant and waste water treatment plant equipment. Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge. You must also possess manual dexterity and physical stamina. This is a full-time day shift position working M-F 7am to 4pm with weekend hours also required. Job Description Job Description JOB SUMMARY: Worker lifts and turns wooden flanges inspecting them for defects, i.e. loose nails, staples or splinters. Worker then completes needed re-work using hammer and/or disc sander. Worker then lifts flange from roller conveyor and stacks them onto a pallet or onto legs. Intermittent with the above tasks, worker may also fill in at other jobs within the plant. Worker may also do miscellaneous light clean-up in their immediate work area. They may also be required to perform other tasks as requested by their foreman or supervisor Walking/Standing – Performed “continuously” within a 15’ range on a smooth level concrete floor. Much of the walking consists of step turn or step, step and return type walking. Lifting – Worker does “continuous” lifting of wooden flanges which range in size from 24” in diameter weighing approximately 9 lbs. to 98” in diameter.
