Loloi Rugs is seeking a CAD Artist with a minimum of 1 year of previous design experience in the textiles industry. The primary objective of this artistic, textile design role is to produce new, initial designs of area rugs, accent rugs, and scatter rugs based on the styling direction of the management team. This person will prepare, re-work, clean, and execute rug designs until they are fully refined and resolved. This person will make multiple sizes and multiple color stories of existing designs, as well as translate existing artwork into new rug designs. Good communication skills are a requirement as the position will be coached, mentored, and critiqued throughout the design process. As confidence is gained, less oversight will be required. This textile design role does not communicate with internal and external customers.
