Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Asset Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the performance, operations, and financial strategies of our real estate investments, including multifamily and commercial properties. The Asset Manager will play a crucial role in maximizing the value of our assets, mitigating risks, and ensuring the long-term success of our investment portfolio after the Kilbourne Group team develops and builds a new project.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Asset Management: Develop and implement comprehensive asset management strategies to maximize the financial performance and value of real estate investments.
2. Asset Operations: Lead and manage the annual property budgets.
3. Property Management: Lead the companies that provide residential and commercial property management for the portfolio. Also, hire and manage the commercial leasing and sales brokers for the portfolio.
4. Tenant Relations: Oversee tenant relations, lease negotiations, and lease renewals to maintain high occupancy rates and tenant satisfaction.
5. Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including acquisitions, development, finance, and legal, to support investment initiatives and achieve strategic objectives.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree or MBA preferred.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate asset management, with a focus on multifamily and commercial properties.
· Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with investors, tenants, and internal stakeholders.
· Proven track record of successfully managing real estate assets, optimizing portfolio performance, and delivering strong investment returns.
· Knowledge of real estate market dynamics, investment strategies, and industry best practices.
· Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and real estate asset management software (Yardi).
