IT Procurement Manager jobs in North Dakota

In collaboration with our client we are searching for a German speaking Procurement Consultant IT to be based out of Germany (fully remote working available).

As a Procurement expert you will operate in a senior capacity delivering cost reduction programs across a wide region whilst taking a consultative approach to provide solutions both internally and externally.

Key responsibilities and abilities will include:

• Leading sourcing initiatives for the IT function including Hardware, Software and other services
• Ownership of IT spend area and bespoke client management
• Being comfortable with and working with internal and external stakeholders to provide business solutions related to Sourcing activity
• Identify and mitigate supplier risks
• Display commercial awareness and business acumen to contribute to the growth of the business and the services provided
• Develop, maintain and seek out new vendor relationships as well as external business partners

Additionally as Procurement Consultant IT we are looking for high calibre candidates with the following skill sets:

• Educated to degree or equivalent level
• Ideally 8 years’ experience in Procurement in a similar position covering Sourcing activities in the Indirect area and ideally within Software spend
• Procurement expert with experience of operating on a global scale with a drive to deliver best in class purchasing methods
• Previous experience of working within or deep understanding of IT, Hardware/Software would be preferred
• Strong influencer who has the readiness to identify cost reduction opportunities with the aim of achieving service targets with respect to quality, costs and time
• Fluent in both German and English
