Designs and delivers new hire training and ongoing user training during system changes and upgrades. Additionally, Certified EHR Trainer may be responsible for implementing a credentialed trainer program that ensures EHR instructors have the required level of system knowledge to effectively deliver training. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Typically requires Epic/Cerner or similar certification. The Certified EHR Trainer gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. To be a Certified EHR Trainer typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience.
