About the role We have an exciting permanent role open for a Business Analyst. This role is a fusion of supporting day to day operations and being an active member of key strategic projects in the central Range & Space team, where you'll deliver new capabilities through technology to our commercial teams.
You'll also:
- Identify capability gaps, support with tailored training solutions to impacted team members, including supporting tools and materials.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their requirements for the final capability being delivered.
- Provide process governance, escalate issues in a timely manner and ensure decisions are aligned to business strategy.
- Active member of programs delivering new Business initiatives, participating in requirement workshops, solution formulation, testing, delivering training to end users and ongoing post program support.
- Support of day-to-day operations, triaging issues, working with multiple skill groups (Business and IT) to prioritise and ensure fast issue resolution.
- Build relationships and liaise with Coles' software partners.
About you and your skills
This position will suit someone with a continuous Business process improvement mindset lending itself but not limited to experienced Business Analysts, Senior Business Analysts or people with a keen interest in developing better, more efficient ways of working.
- Experience in the FMCG sector with exposure to day-to-day retail operations
- Basic SQL preferred
- Low level technical proficiency
- Knowledge of database concepts and data relationships
- Familiarity with Range & Space planning tools (ie Blue Yonder, Apollo, Spaceman) preferred
- Adaptable to a constantly changing retail landscape
- Influencing skills to challenge and deliver best practice
- Demonstrated capability to develop other team members technical capability.
- Excellent organisation, process and project management skills.
- A strong ability in working within a team-based environment with demonstrated experience leading and managing a team to meet objectives.
- Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills and demonstrated success at building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of initiative and flexibility.
