Dental Assistant

to Dental Assistant Position

We are seeking a confident and energetic dental assistant to join our team at Eternity Dental in Mooroolbark. We are searching for the right person to fill a permanent casual/part-time position on a Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, with the flexibility to cover sick/holiday leave.

Dental experience preferred but we will consider training an eager candidate.

The Practice

We are a progressive and friendly dental team who are passionate about dentistry. Our first priority is always to provide the best and most appropriate treatments for our patients.

Our practice is located in Mooroolbark, walking distance to the local train station . Our workflow is fully computerised, running Exact dental software and digital radiography. We pride ourselves on being a stable, respectful, close-knit team.

The role and duties

• Prepare patients & facilities for dental treatment.
• Chairside assisting encompassing all aspects of general dentistry
• Instrument sterilisation & infection Control
• Assist with building patient relations
• Reception duties (Patient bookings & settle patient accounts)
• General cleaning duties

The Ideal Candidate will be:

• Reliable and punctual with a positive work ethic
• Be able to work in a team and independently
• Have the ability to multitask
• Have excellent communication skills, both written & verbal

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 – 24 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Fixed shift

Experience:

• Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred)

Language:

• English (Required)

• Australia (Required)
