Your Mission:

The IT Coordinator / Helpdesk Support specialist will serve as the first point of contact for stakeholders seeking technical assistance over the phone or email, performing remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions, and determining the best solution based on the issue and details provided by stakeholders. The individual will coordinate and collaborate with other departments across all areas of the Company’s business and must possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

Your Day-to-Day Adventures:

  • Helpdesk assistance with end users – local and remote
  • Connect and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders by actively listening and asking the right questions.
  • Provide quick/temporary and long-term solutions on various inquires and issues. Able to effectively communicate, make suggestions and act comfortably either individually or as part of a team.
  • Set up meeting and audio-visual equipment.
  • Document various procedures and provide training and assistance to users.
  • Ad-hoc work as required.
  • Travel to various states of Australia to accommodate needs in several offices on short notice
  • Have adequate knowledge to assist with infrastructure upgrades and able to communicate with vendors
  • Arrange delivery of hardware via courier services or postal services.
  • Occasionally, assist with hardware installation in various offices.


Candidate/Employee Overview:

We are seeking an experienced individual with a proactive and collaborative approach to IT Coordination & Helpdesk Support to join our growing Australian business.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills with a track record of working in a similar level IT Coordination & Helpdesk Support role.


What You Bring:

  • College or University level education.
  • 2-5 years of IT helpdesk and relevant experiences. Must understand the concept of ITIL.
  • Self-motivated and reliable. Able to work independently.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Fast learner and willing to learn.
  • Willing and flexible to respond to and address emergencies outside of normal work hours.
  • Willing to work 5 days a week in the Melbourne office or travel to different offices / locations when and as needs arise.
  • Experience with IT helpdesk tools such as ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus and TeamViewer or similar.
  • Extremely familiar with Microsoft software ecosystem such as office 365, SharePoint and various Azure platform and functions.
  • Experience with Microsoft Autopilot method and sequence.
  • Experience with handling issues dealing with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom, both software and hardware related.
  • Experience dealing with requests and inquires with various vendors such as Dell and Lenovo for troubleshooting and arrange warranty repairs.
  • Familiar with normal business processes such as onboarding / offboarding, prefer experience working in secured/compliance environments.
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written – comfortable to provide training sessions and presentations in front of small audiences (1 to 20)
  • Strong data awareness and good understanding of data compliance and IT/data security
  • Experience with IT inventory systems and processes.
