The Organisation
JK Personnel has an exciting opportunity with a large Bendigo based electrical wholesale and distribution company. Part of the Gemcell Electrical Group, Australia’s largest group of independent electrical wholesalers, our client combines the buying power and value of a large national organisation with a knowledge and personalised service of a local business. Due to an exciting period of growth, our client is looking for an experienced Storeperson to join their team.
A proactive and team-focused all-rounder, the Storeperson role will see you complete a diverse range of duties to support the growth and success of our client. From pick-packing orders and forklift driving to customer service and other general manual labour, your attention to detail, customer service skills, and experience in a similar role will set you up for success.
The role
With a focus on quality results, you will be responsible for:
- Safely loading and unloading trucks and customer pickups
- Customer service, creating relationships with those you liase with
- Operate forklifts
- Pick and pack from stock on-site to create specific orders
- Successfully contribute to a safe working environment
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and take pride in your work
- Willingness to perform other sorting, packing and stacking duties as required
- Ability to perform manual labour
Requirements Of This Role
To be successful in this role you will ideally have previous experience within warehousing or distribution work. You will have sound communication skills and the ability to learn new processes quickly.
This role requires a valid FL License.
This role will require the ability to perform manual labour including some heavy lifting.
