The Opportunity:
The objective is to ensure the day-to-day operational activities of the Service Team are achieved to a high standard through focusing on safety, clear and positive communication, quality assurance checks and documentation, work flow processes and procedures, contamination control. cost control, technician utilization, employee management, continuous improvement and daily job reporting and updates. The position of Leading hand is to be 50% productive.
Roster: Monday to Friday
Role Located: Townsville Branch

What we are looking for:
- Trade qualifications (Electrical Fitter, Auto Electrician or Diesel Mechanic).
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral to effectively communicate with customers and personnel at all levels.
- Appropriate demeanor in supervising and assisting to create a positive team atmosphere.
- Proven ability to implement OH&S practices in the workplace.
- Good technical experience on Komatsu product range.
- Good understanding of Komatsu systems and process.
- Leadership skills and experience.
- Good understanding of how a service department operates.
- Must understand the warranty guidelines and process.
- Proven experience to lead work groups.
- Customer service orientated.
- Ensure that duties are conducted in terms of the core values of Komatsu.
