Retail Trainer/Coach
6-month Contract – Melbourne

The Role
We are looking for a Retail Sales Coach to manage a Digital Transformation project within our client’s retail network. The purpose of the role is to train and support personnel on site or virtually in implementing a digital tool to improve sales.
Duties & Responsibilities
The Retail Sales Coach, in accordance with the specifications and requirements of our client must:
- Train retail network personnel on the new Digital systems.
- Involve retailers and secure their commitment to this change in methodology and platform.
- Bring analogue retailers into the digital world.
- Use the agreed methodology to provide high quality training and coaching.
- Train retail staff on how to apply the process and new tools.
- Analyse customer satisfaction with the aim of identifying strengths and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Follow up the implementation of agreed actions and measure the results in terms of customer satisfaction.
About You
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Broad knowledge of retail processes and able to sell an idea to a retail network.
- Adaptable to pick up new systems and ideas.
- Comfortable in a fast-changing environment while ensuring continuity of current activities.
- Ability to perform professional analysis and provide written interpretations of findings.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Flexible and structured approach.
- Initiative.
- Manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to understand complex information and assess requirements.
- Ability to work independently with multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams.
- Previous experience in retail training and / or aftersales process improvement and transformation.
- Proficiency in MS Office is required.
- Certified coach by a recognized industry will be advantageous.
- Experience in the agricultural or truck sector is also considered advantageous but certainly not essential.
