Domestic Services is looking for a new team member to assist General Services Supervisors and Operations Coordinators in ensuring an efficient and cost effective service whilst maintaining high standards of cleanliness consistent with Department of Health Cleaning and Infection Control Guidelines. In this role you will provide direct and in-direct supervision and support of frontline cleaning and other General Services staff. What you will bring to the role
- Previous experience in Environmental Services within a healthcare facility and/or in commercial cleaning.
- Previous experience relevant to the requirements of leading a team effectively
- Possess effective communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Demonstrated effective time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team and also to work with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of WH&S including manual handling and ability to respond appropriately to safety and health issues
- Demonstrated computer knowledge of use of Microsoft Office
- Ability to work any shift within a 24 hour 7 day rotating roster.
