Be part of our National Support Office and Planning & Performance Team as our Data Analyst a critical role that performs functions that are integral to the oversight of OzChild’s programs and operations.
The Data Analyst holds a critical role in enabling OzChild’s strategic plan; using data to draw on insights and evidence to deliver what works.
Working with internal and external stakeholders, the Data Analyst will use data from multiple sources to manage reports and dashboards, using their expertise to provide insights to the organisation’s decision-makers in a meaningful way.
In addition, there also an exciting opportunity to support the centralisation of OzChild’s reporting function.
Your role:
-Partner with stakeholders (internal and external) to provide data and support decision-making.
-Ensure usability of data by all areas of the organisation by providing easily consumable insights
-Create meaningful and fit-for-purpose information using techniques and tools such as charts and reports to convey information to internal and external stakeholders at all levels
-Support the development and implementation of tools, processes, training, and standard operating procedures that facilitate the efficient and streamlined collection of high-quality data
-Identify and analyse internal and external data relating to various organisational functions and programs
-Perform data cleansing and transformation tasks to ensure data accuracy and consistency
Utilise Power BI for data visualisation and reporting to enhance insights and support decision-making
Experience required:
-Previous experience in a similar role.
-Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
-Experience in Microsoft Power BI, DAX or Power Query
-Knowledge of the child welfare system (strong advantage but not essential)
OzChild offers:
-12 months maximum term (maternity leave contract) contract position in a supportive and collaborative environment
-Part time role 4 days per week

-Salary $90,000 - $100,000 plus super (negotiable upon experience) pro – rata to 4 days plus Salary Packaging $15,900 plus $2650 meals and entertainment
