Panthers Port Macquarie are looking for a dedicated cellar person to join their hardworking team.

 

Responsible for stock requisition and keeping our bars fully operational. This role is vital in ensuring Panthers stock is received, handled, stored and dispatched in a timely and efficient manner while also maintaining the cellar. You will also pride yourself on building presentation, maintaining cleanliness and room setup/pack down. You will liaise with various staff and suppliers on a daily basis and will need to demonstrate professional attitude in ensuring the stock and cellar is well maintained and event spaces are set up to the required floorplan.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

    • Stock requisitions, receiving and dispatching deliveries;
    • Deliver internal orders to relevant departments and managers;
    • Liaising with a variety of suppliers and staff in regards to purchase orders and deliveries;
    • Ensuring all deliveries are effectively documented as per Panthers procedures;
    • Set up of beer keg banks;
    • Room setup and pack down
    • Assisting the operations team with event room set up/pack down as per floorplans;
    • Updating of computer system to enable accurate stock levels;
    • Assist with stock checks when required;
    • Weekly beer line cleaning procedures;
    • Maintenance of the receiving dock area;
    • Maintenance of beer reticulation system and post mix equipment and;
    • General cleaning and admin duties as required;

Key Selection Criteria:

    • Previous 2 years’ experience in cellar and store work;
    • Strong attention to detail;
    • A high level of fitness;
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment;
    • Basic to intermediate computing skills;
    • RSA & RCG Certificate;
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills and;
    • Current NSW Driver’s License.

 

You will demonstrate a strong work ethic, a commitment to customer service and the ability to work in a team as well as autonomously. You are required to be flexible and reliable as you will need to be available 24/7 to work as required including nights, weekends and public holidays.
