Payroll/Accounts Payable Officer

Are you an experienced payroll and accounts professional looking for a part-time role? We have an exciting opportunity for you! Our Client in Canberra is seeking a dedicated individual to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage payroll and superannuation processes using MYOB
• Process accounts payable and receivable, including online banking
• Conduct payroll calculations in accordance with relevant legislation and awards
• Perform end-of-financial-year payroll reconciliations
• Record payroll and associated journals in the Finance package
  
  

Essential Skills And Experience

• Accounting qualifications and/or a minimum of four years' experience in payroll and Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable roles
• Proficient in all aspects of MYOB, including Payroll and superannuation
• Intermediate skills in spreadsheets, word processing, and databases
• Strong experience in processing accounts payable and receivable
• Expertise in payroll calculations and compliance with relevant legislation and awards
• Experience in end-of-financial-year payroll reconciliations
• Excellent communication skills
  
  

Desirable Skills And Experience

• Experience in human resource administration
• Ability to handle payroll queries related to audits
• Familiarity with Single Touch Reporting
