Working with the Local, Regional and Global teams and different Business Partners, the Project Manager must be able to ensure that projects are executed according to the standards stipulated within Project Excellence at Siemens Energy and be able to manage, guide and support projects locally and within the region.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering and if not, should possess minimal 5-7 years of working. experience within the areas of Transmission Service (HVDC, FACTS, GIS, AIS, TX, CBs etc).
  • Has experience & knowledge of Transmission Products, Solutions and Services.
  • Previous experience as site / field service technician or supervisor would also be considered.
  • Relevant training in PM including certification by a professional body desired.
  • Comfortable handling commercial-related topics
  • Able to exhibit a keen eye for detail with regards to Contract management.
  • Able to communicate well within the local, regional, and global team.
  • Understands cultural differences and copes with them effectively.
  • Ability to improvise and willingness to experience unpredictable situations.
  • Positive attitude to work in challenging environment and in embracing dedication.
  • Strong competence in using IT Tools including Microsoft, SAP, Salesforce etc.
  • Must be effectively mobile both locally and regionally for projects as needed.


What You Bring

  • Participates in upfront customer discussions and represents the project in the relevant discussions; both internally & externally
  • Coordinates overall planning of the project, workforce and specialized test equipment.
  • Monitor’s milestone and adherence to budgets, and initiates actions to minimize non-conformance cost.
  • Maintains constant communication to customers, outside contractors, or other stakeholders.
  • Participates in senior level engagement with customers and partners to establish close and trustful relations.
  • Adheres to Siemens Energy’s Project Management, Project Excellence, Business Conduct Guidelines & HSE standards.
  • Manages and coordinates all temporarily assigned project staff as well as being able to do site visits on a regular basis.
  • Project lead and driver to implementation of cross function teams including:
    • Solving any issues that may come up and implementing risk mitigation plans etc.
    • Implementing Lessons Learned feedback after completion of every project.
    • Generating Up-Sales & Variation Orders on existing projects.
    • Managing FS Suppliers & Subcontractors etc. during project execution
    • Reviewing and implementing cost reduction / improvement measures.
    • Risk & Claim management internally and towards the customer.
    • Contract management with regards to time bars, early warnings, and compensation event notices
    • Conducts stakeholder analysis and manages efficient communication with all relevant stakeholders.
    • Conduct customer satisfaction surveys on all projects.
