Our professional and easy-going Oyster Bay family is seeking an experienced and reliable nanny/ PA who is punctual, friendly, caring, funny, playful, active, and creative, with a positive parenting style. Flexible working hours would be a big plus. Ideally, the family would like someone who can become part of the family—someone the kids enjoy and respect. As the family is navigating a period of transition due to separation, having a supportive and adaptable nanny who can offer stability and flexibility would be a tremendous asset.

Combining the nanny and personal assistant roles for the dad means you get full-day work instead of split shifts. The PA tasks are pretty simple, and training will be provided.

To overview the role, the nanny will assist the children with getting ready for and attending daycare and school. Following this, the role transitions to personal assistant duties, including light administrative tasks and some household chores. In the afternoon, the nanny will pick up the children, manage their after-school activities, help with homework, and prepare their meals.

Nanny Duties & Responsibilities include:

• Building a strong relationship with the children and the family

• School drop-off and pick-up

• Ensuring a safe and hygienic environment

• Managing light household chores

• Managing admin tasks as a Personal Assistance

• Preparing nutritious meals for the kids

• Undertaking additional/occasional duties when requested

• Maintaining all aspects of the care routine for the children

To apply, you MUST have the following experience, attitude, and qualifications:

• No smoking

• Driver's license required and provide own car would be preferred

• Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain ASAP)

• A minimum of 3 years experience working full-time with children

• A minimum of 2 Australian-based child-related references

• Current First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain ASAP)

• Current National Criminal Record Check

• Excellent communication skills

Pay: $40.00 – $45.00 per hour
