This role is based at Cairns Family Store and is responsible for handling the movement of goods in and out of the store. The role will also provide assistance in the overall productivity of the Family Stores, in line with TSA mission.
This position is part time permanent with 15.2 hours a week, based in Woree, CAIRNS
You Will Successfully
Coordinate the pickup/delivery of all donated goods as per the instructions from the relevant Family Store Manager and in accordance with the written schedule, as per all WH&S manual handling procedures/protocols.
Weekly planner provided to the Family Store Manager outlining planned pick-ups and deliveries.
Daily pickups and deliveries recorded in logbook is accurate, comprehensive, and up to date.
Pickups, deliveries, loading and unloading of truck contents is undertaken with care, and as directed and within appropriate timelines and in accordance with written schedule.
You Must Have
Minimum 2 yrs experience in driving/operating commercial vehicles.
Previous experience in a customer facing role.
Current valid QLD Driver’s Licence.
First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain.
A reasonable level of fitness in order to carry out the duties of the position. This position will require physical ability to stand, sit and walk for long periods time. The role will require you to push, pull, lift, carry, restrain stock and climb ladders etc. such work will be undertaken in accordance with WH&S policies and procedures.
Salary is in accordance with General retail – Level 2
