UGL now have a vacancy for a
Regional Manager. Reporting to the Operations Manager you will take responsibility and accountability for providing direction and support for all Queensland Industrial sites’ projects within the Industrials North portfolio.
Your experience in planning and mapping all assigned Outages, Sites & Projects, together with people, will ensure timely and profitable delivery in line with customer requirements and UGL policies, procedures, guidelines, and budgets.
Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities
- Establish and implement strategic directions in consultation with the Operations Manager to ensure development and growth in your portfolio
- Ensure effective selection of tenders, and subsequent quotations are properly prepared, checked, vetted and approved
- Monitor and analyse operational results and implement effective corrective actions where required
- Ensure all Monthly Project Review paperwork is submitted by Project Managers within the required timeframe, to a high quality, and compliant with all requirements
- Provide strong leadership, direction, and inspirational management to all team members, whilst providing effective coaching, mentoring and development for all direct reports
- Ensure all activities across all sites and projects are undertaken in the safest possible manner, and in accordance with UGL HSE policies and procedures
About You
- Qualifications in a trade, Engineering, Business, or Project Management
- Extensive experience in the preparation and management of budgets
- Strong, demonstrated experience in managing and leading a team of people
- Highly developed communication, negotiation and influencing skills
- Strong conflict resolution skills, coupled with the ability to organise and prioitise demands and manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the demonstrated ability to build and foster strong relationships
