About The Opportunity
This role is responsible for providing leadership to the local service support team and is required to work closely with the Service Manager and local leadership team including the Care Coach, Homemakers, & Leisure & Wellness Coordinator within our Senior Services aged care facilities.
As the Service Lead, you will ensure the team foster strong relationships and connection with each client and make a real difference in the delivery of person-centred support and services, with a focus on efficiency, resource optimisation and continuous improvement. This role ensures local resources are available to meet client needs and exceed safe and effective quality service standards.
This is a permanent full-time role, based out of our service at Uniting Orange.
About You
- Tertiary or Diploma qualification in a relevant field, such as Aged Care, Health, Business and/or working towards or equivalent years of experience
- Five or more years' experience in supervising a team, and nurturing them through ambiguity and change
- Significant understanding for client needs, to convert these into positive service delivery outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking skills, with the client always at the centre
- Passion for social change and contributing to an organisation of influence for vulnerable, at risk and disadvantaged members of the community
- Proficient in using multiple computer applications, as well as the willingness to learn new systems/programs
- Current driver's licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle
