Business Analyst with Java or Python

Our client seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer with 4-6 years of experience and a strong background in Business Analysis (BA) or Project Management (PM). The ideal candidate will have a robust technical skillset and the ability to support and maintain ongoing projects.

Contract: 6 Months with the possibility of extension

Location: Sydney

Work Flex - Hybrid (3 days a week in office)

Rate - $500 Super

Visa requirement- Our client will not be able to sponsor visa for this role, Permanent residents/Citizens or Visa with minimum 2 years validity preferred

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in a similar role
• Background in Business Analysis (BA) or Project Management (PM)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  
  

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide support and maintenance for existing jobs, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
• Contribute to the architecture and design of new solutions, enhancing overall system performance and scalability.
• Leverage Mainframe knowledge (if available) to optimize and integrate legacy systems with modern applications.
  
  

Technical Skillset

• Proficient in either Java or Python
• Basic knowledge of databases
• Experience in supporting and maintaining ongoing jobs
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Mainframe systems
• Strong architecture and design skills
