We are currently looking for TSPV cleared individuals for a junior admin/executive assistant role in Canberra, ACT. This role will require you to work closely with other EA's and be part of a supportive network
Major Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and executive support to senior officers.
- Liaise effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders, exercising judgement and professionalism to build productive working relationships.
- Manage and coordinate calendars and work schedules, providing logistical support including travel arrangements and senior level liaison commitments.
- Prioritise, triage and coordinate responses in accordance with expectations.
- Respond to incoming and outgoing communications.
- Prepare, collate, and manage the timely distribution of meeting papers, meeting minutes, reports, and briefs.
- Work collaboratively with the broader senior leadership team and other executive assistants.
Skills and Experience
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail, thoroughness, and consistency.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to coordinate tasks effectively, multi-task and manage competing priorities.
- An exceptional level of professionalism, initiative, and ability to self-direct.
- Be highly organised, motivated, responsive, and resilient.
- Deliver outcomes consistent with Departmental practices and values.
- Be confident in meeting timeframes and managing your workload.
- Demonstrate a “Can-do” attitude plus the initiative and discretion to manage the role effectively.
Location: This role is a Canberra, ACT based role.
Contract terms: 6 months with 1x 6 month extensions.
Security Requirements: Candidates require an active TSPV clearance or have had the clearance downgraded in the last 12 months. Candidates will need to be willing to undergo pre-employment checks which may include, ID and work rights, security clearance verification, and any other client requested checks.
SFIA level required: The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes at a SFIA Level of Responsibility 2, 3 or 4 in the ADMN skillset.
